Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how GoElite, Inc. ("GoElite," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use extensionofstay.com and the services offered on it, including our free guides, live briefings, courses, AI assistant, and attorney-connected services (together, the "Services"). 1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact information — name, email address, phone number, preferred language, school or program details, when you subscribe to updates, register for a briefing, book a call, or create an account.
- Immigration-related information — information you choose to share about your visa status, I-20/I-94 dates, program timeline, or case when using our courses, AI assistant, intake forms, or attorney-connected services. This may include sensitive information about your immigration status; we collect it only to provide the Services you request.
- Payment information — processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, chat, WhatsApp, or forms, and questions you submit to attorneys or the AI assistant.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, course progress, approximate location (from IP address), device and browser type.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for site functionality, analytics, and marketing (see Section 6).
2. How we use information
- To provide the Services — deliver guides, courses, briefings, the AI assistant, and connect you with independent attorneys.
- To personalize content, such as mapping deadlines to your program dates.
- To process payments and maintain your account, including carrying payments over between service levels.
- To send service communications and, with your consent or as permitted by law, policy updates and marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve the Services, including analyzing usage and improving course content and the AI assistant.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
About your immigration informationWe understand information about your immigration status is sensitive. We use it only to provide and improve the Services you request. We do not sell it, and we do not voluntarily share it with government agencies except where required by valid legal process.
3. How we share information
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Independent attorneys | When you purchase attorney Q&A, review, or representation services, we share the information needed for the attorney to assist you. Once an attorney-client relationship is formed, information you share with that attorney is governed by the attorney's own obligations, including attorney-client privilege where applicable. |
| Service providers | Vendors that host our site, manage our CRM and email (e.g., HubSpot), process payments, schedule meetings, and provide analytics — bound to use data only on our instructions. |
| AI service providers | Questions submitted to our AI assistant are processed by third-party AI providers under contracts restricting use of your data. |
| Legal and safety | Where required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Services. |
| Business transfers | In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
4. Attorney services and privilege
GoElite is not a law firm. Attorney services offered through the platform are provided by independent licensed U.S. immigration attorneys. Communications with GoElite (including the AI assistant, group sessions, and courses) are not protected by attorney-client privilege. Private communications with an attorney through designated confidential formats are subject to the attorney's professional obligations, as described at the point of service.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Course and account records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion at any time (Section 8).
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies (required for the site to work), analytics cookies (to understand usage), and marketing cookies (to measure campaigns). You can control cookies through your browser settings; where required by your jurisdiction, we request consent before setting non-essential cookies.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure — please use a strong password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion — you may request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
- Email marketing — unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email; service emails (receipts, case updates) continue while you use the Services.
- California residents — you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), without discrimination for exercising these rights.
- Other U.S. states and international users — where applicable law (including GDPR, for users visiting from abroad) grants similar rights, we honor them. Our Services are operated from the United States and your information is processed in the U.S.
To exercise any right, contact us at dean@goelite.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Children
The Services are intended for individuals 18 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
